Dr. Allison Jarrett
Dr. Allison Jarrett is originally from Beckley, West Virginia, and attended West Virginia University for both her undergraduate and graduate studies, obtaining a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2016. Following her time at WVU, Dr. Jarrett completed a general practice residency at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. After residency, Dr. Jarrett moved to Kentucky where she worked in private practice for three years. Recently relocating to Charleston, Dr. Jarrett couldn’t be happier to be back home in the mountain state.
Dr. Emily Black
Dr. Emily Black is a West Virginia University graduate, earning her undergraduate degree in exercise physiology, followed by a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2017. She completed a residency in advanced education of general dentistry at the University of Cincinnati, then entered private practice in Morgantown, WV, where she practiced for four years. Dr. Black grew up in Charleston and is excited to be back home serving her friends and neighbors.
Jovanna Bounds - Hygienist
Jovanna is from Pennsylvania and graduated from Connellsville High School in 2001. She attended WV Institute of Technology and earned an associate degree in dental hygiene in 2003. She has worked in Family Dentistry since 2004 and enjoys working with patients of all ages.
Melinda Avis - Hygienist
Melinda grew up in Craigsville, WV, and graduated from Richwood High School. She attended West Virginia University and West Virginia Institute of Technology and graduated from WVIT with an associate degree in dental hygiene in 1992.
Loretta Blake - Dental Assistant
Loretta has been a certified dental assistant since 2006. Born and raised in Lewis County, Loretta graduated from Lewis County High School. She has two adult daughters and resides in Clay County with her husband. In her free time, Loretta enjoys spending time with her family, camping and fishing!
Tara Richmond - Dental Assistant
Tara has been a part of our team since 2018 and graduated from the Carver Career and Technical Education Center with the highest honors in her class. Committed to making sure that every patient is comfortable with their treatment, Tara makes a point to explain the upcoming procedure and answer any question you may have with a smile!
